QUALITY ROOFING SERVICES

If you have experienced recent Hail Damage in your neighborhood, were sure your area has been swarming with roofers looking to cash in on your misfortune. Some of them will be reputable companies, but unfortunately, many will not. Every year we hear of Homeowners who have gotten themselves into trouble by using companies who will attempt to defraud the Insurance company by submitting fraudulent invoices. For most Homeowners, the process of having their Insurance company replace a roof under the provisions of their policy is unfamiliar & confusing, so much the mistake of trusting some stranger who comes to their door & promises to pay their Deductible to get a signed contract & to handle their claim.

IF YOU DON'T MIND, WE WOULD LIKE TO OFFER SOME ADVICE

  1. Don't sign anything with someone who comes to your door.  That advice actually comes from the Colorado Secretary of State & Colorado Roofer's Association. This is the single best way to avoid fraud!  Also scammers will ask for your "signatureorauthorization" to either inspect your roof or to meet with the Insurance Adjuster, & what you are really signing is a Contract for them to replace your roof if the Insurance Company approves the claim.
  2. Slow Down.  Your Insurance Company allows up to a year for you to file a claim & complete the work. (Exception) if you still have a Wood Shake roof & you think it is damaged, have it checked out quickly since the evidence of damage diminishes with time.
  3. Beware of Companies who say they will pay some or all of your Insurance Deductible.  It's Insurance Fraud, & it's a good way to get your policy dropped. New Laws went into effect in June 2012 specifically making it illegal to pay or waive a Deductible.
  4. Don't ever give a company money until materials are delivered & or the job is completed. If they ask for money or need your money to buy materials, it's a good sign that they are not financially stable, & you may end up with a contractor's lien on your home, & or they may never do the job.

SO HERE'S OUR OFFER TO YOU

INSURANCE CLAIMS

MAKING A CLAIM

Does the Insurance Company know if there has been a hail storm in an area? Most Insurance companies subscribe to different tracking & hail reporting services. These services can track the hail size & the exact locations it fell, if a neighborhood had hail damaging they know it.

DOES THE HOMEOWNER NEED TO GET 2 OR MORE ESTIMATES?

NO! Each Insurance Company has created their own price list  (estimate) & will only pay the actual costs for repairs or replacement, regardless of what the different estimates you may get.

Think of it this way, what rewards will the Insurance Company give you for finding the best price for them? Will they lower their premium?  The Insurance company will pay a reputable contractor a "Fair Market Price."
